Her bilirubin (a yellow chemical) level increased to an intermediate risk level (jaundice). Its common in Asian and breast feeding babies, where her liver hasn't woke up to break down the necessary blood cells. She can be given phototherapy (light therapy) or supplement formula to help flush bilirubin out of her system. Look at how our lil girl turned yellow! She's in a light bed getting phototherapy.
